Johnson is more of a return specialist than receiver and could win the punt return job this summer. He broke his left thumb in last season's preseason opener and missed the entire 2010 season.

Johnson will compete for the kickoff return and punt return job, but is probably the No. 2 on the depth chart at both spots. Johnson is pretty far down on the depth chart as a receiver, so he's unlikely to be a factor there in the regular season.

Johnson has impressed the Minnesota staff this offseason and appears to be the front-runner to land the sixth and final wideout spot, though it's tough to imagine him seeing more than inconsistent spot duty on the field this season.
