RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Letroy Guion.
Guion provided a big boost to the Packers after signing with the club prior to the 2014 season. He is a favorite to start at one of the two defensive end spots in the Packers' base defense, but is facing a three-game suspension for an offseason arrest.
Guion signed with the Packers this offseason after posting 21 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble for the Vikings a year ago. The veteran defensive tackle will compete for a starting gig in Green Bay, although he'll most likely feature in substitute packages as the Packers rotate bodies.
Guion will battle Fred Evans for the starting nose tackle job.
Guion is likely to start at a defensive tackle spot next to Kevin Williams, but he's mostly a run stuffer who won't put up viable IDP stats.
Will be a reserve defensive tackle.
A strong player with long arms, Guion will backup Kevin Williams. Guion could have an immediate impact if the Williams brothers have to serve a four game suspension to begin the season.
Guion will attempt to make Minnesota's roster as a backup defensive tackle, although it'd be tough for him to find time on the field even if he does make the team.
