Jason Smith

Smith was the second pick in the 2009 draft but has dealt with his share of injuries, most significantly, concussions. He was traded to the Jets in 2012 and has since then been released twice by them and once by the Saints. The 49ers have some depth on the offensive line but are looking for someone who specifically plays the tackle position. It is unclear yet as to whether or not they will sign him.
