Summers is in competition with Dorin Dickerson at fullback and will have a chance to see some playing time in 2013. Even so, it is unlikely that he will have any production from a fantasy perspective.
Summers is slated to back up Jacob Hester at fullback, but he doesn't figure to make any fantasy impact in 2011.
Summers was sidelined for most of the 2009 season due to a back injury. He is the early favorite to be the fullback if the team decides to incorporate one into the ground attack.
If Summers can make the active roster, he might carve out a role a la Gary Russell late last season. His bruising style and wide frame is suited to short yardage and goalline packages.
