Paulsen had three catches on seven targets for 21 yards Sunday against the Falcons.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

With Jordan Reed out again due to the concussion he suffered a couple weeks ago, Paulsen maintained his higher number of snaps. Only Pierre Garcon and Santana Moss saw more targets than Paulsen, although the tight end didn't do much with the three he managed to haul in. Additionally, fellow-tight end Fred Davis, who has been a minimal part of the offense this season, scored a 21-yard touchdown on his lone catch of the day. Despite his uptick in snaps, Paulsen remains a relatively weak fantasy option, which will only continue if Reed is able to return in Week 16.
Paulsen had three catches on five targets for 44 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Chiefs.

RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2015

Subscribe now to see our 2015 outlook.

2014

Last season, Paulsen saw increased playing time with Jordan Reed limited to only nine games after suffering a concussion and Fred Davis in-and-out of the lineup after being benched. Still, Paulsen managed only 268 yards on a career-high 28 receptions. With Reed healthy and operating as Washington's top tight end reciving threat, Paulsen will likely serve primarily as a blocker.

2013

Even when Fred Davis went down with a torn Achilles last season, Paulsen was utilized mainly as a blocker.

2012

Paulsen filled in for the injured Fred Davis and Chris Cooley to start six games last season. He will return to his role as reserve tight end in 2012.
