RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Doug Free.
Free will start at right tackle for the Cowboys
Starting right tackle rebounded from a rough 2012, but could be heading into his final season in Dallas after the club drafted Zack Martin in the first round.
Free's play dropped off badly after he signed a big contract, and after losing snaps at right tackle to Jermey Parnell late in 2012 his deal got re-structured. He's still the favorite to retain the starting job, but he'll be on a short leash.
Starting tackle will shift to the right side to make room for 2011 first round pick Tyron Smith.
