RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Cody Wallace.
Wallace played in all but two offensive snaps last season while filling in for an injured Maurkice Pouncey. With Pouncey set to reclaim the starting center job, Wallace, who can also play guard, will be relegated to backup.
After filling in for an injured Maurkice Pouncey in 2013, Wallace earned the back-up center job last season, appearing in 15 game. He will likely fill this role again in 2015.
Should Wallace make the 53-man roster this season he will serve as a backup to Maurkice Pouncey.
Wallace has bounced around teams' practice squads since being drafted by the Niners in 2008. He's contractually bound to the Texans in 2011, but he was released in September 2011.
