Eight days after suffering a concussion in the Redskins' loss to the Giants, Paul passed the final stage of testing in accordance with the league's concussion protocol, and was thus cleared to practice in full Friday. He appears headed for an official "probable" designation, while fellow tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring), who remained limited Friday, is uncertain for Week 5. Paul ranks second on the team with 21 catches and leads the team with 313 receiving yards.

Paul (concussion) says he isn't suffering from headaches or nausea leading up to Monday's game against the Seahawks, ESPN Radio 980 D.C. reports.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

Paul was ruled out just before halftime of last Thursday's game against the Giants after suffering an obvious concussion following a helmet-to-helmet hit. However, given the Redskins' long break between Week 4 and Week 5, Paul stands a chance of being cleared to play Monday versus the Seahawks. With Jordan Reed (hamstring) also on the mend, the Redskins' tight end situation will be one to monitor throughout this week.

2014

2013

Paul has struggled to make an impact after moving to tight end. He had an opportunity after Fred Davis missed the second half of the season but only caught eight passes. Instead the light catching Logan Paulsen saw most of the reps. Paul will likely have to prove himself once again in camp in order to make the team.

2012

Paul had a quiet rookie season in 2011. He spent most of his time on special teams before missing several games with turf toe. The team likes his size and speed but do not have room for him at wide receiver. He has been asked to bulk up and learn to play tight end. He will compete for a spot behind Fred Davis and Chris Cooley. Paul will be a bit undersized for the position but has good speed and could cause some match-up problems.
