2014

2013

Carmichael, a fourth-round draft pick in 2011, appeared in six games last season after missing his entire rookie season due to a shoulder injury. At best, he'll be the fifth cornerback on a depth chart that runs six players deep. Coaches were high on him during May's organized team activities, but unless injuries hit, Carmichael will resume a depth role and play in situations when Houston needs multiple cornerbacks.

2012

Carmichael is a little behind after missing his entire rookie season with a shoulder injury. He'll get a chance in training camp to compete for a roster spot, but he'll probably need to show an aptitude for special teams.

2011

Houston's secondary was in tatters last season, so Carmichael enters a good situation. Kareem Jackson and free agent Jonathan Joseph will start, but playing time is available for anyone that can demonstrate play-making ability.
