Heading into camp Bannon will compete for time at fullback and look to be a strong contributor on special teams. However, even if he can earn the starting gig blocking for Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones, it is unlikely he will have any value as a runner, considering that of Kansas City's 556 rush attempts last season, only five went to a fullback.
