Rogers will compete for the nickel role in this defense. The starting corner backs are going to be Stephon Gilmore and Leodis McKelvin. However, if McKelvin falters, Rogers could possibly be the one to step into the role.
Rogers, a seventh-round pick in 2011, has already exceeded that slot by making the team and working his way up the cornerback chain. He won't start in 2012, but has a chance to be the No. 3 or No. 4 guy while also chipping in via the return game.
Rookie corner from Richmond who also has skills as a return man. However, the Bill are pretty deep at corner after they re-signed Drayton Florence, so at best Rogers looks like the No. 5 corner, and more likely he's practice squad material.
