Baker is heading into his second full season with the Jets. Last September, when Jeff Cumberland took a season-ending Achilles’ injury, Baker was elevated to the active roster. On Christmas Eve, Baker caught his first career touchdown against the New York Giants. However, it seems that Cumberland is going to be healthy enough this season to compete for his backup spot behind Dustin Keller. In turn, Baker will likely be competing for that third or fourth value spot.
