Because fellow corner Marcus Roberson (ankle) is also sitting out, the Rams will likely turn to Trumaine Johnson and E.J. Jenkins took a step back in 2013 after a spectacular rookie season in which he scored five touchdowns. He was hampered at times by a back injury and still registered 61 tackles in 16 games, but his one interception in 2013 limits his IDP value.
Jenkins will start at corner opposite Cortland Finnegan as he looks to continue the success he found in his rookie season last year.
Jenkins will battle fellow rookie Trumaine Johnson and veteran Bradley Fletcher for the starting cornerback job opposite Cortland Finnegan. We expect him to win that battle and give the Rams one of the better pairs of starting corners in the league.
