Martin is "one of the most improved players" on the Texans, according to coach Bill O'Brien, CSN Houston reports. "He's a guy that obviously, he's a special teams kicker returner, punt returner and then we played him at all the spots at the receiver position. We played him outside, put him on the inside and he's improved a great deal."

2013

Martin, who opened last season as the team's third wideout and kick returner, eventually lost the No. 3 job to DeVier Posey. Martin impressed coaches during organized team activities, suggesting the wideout is primed to make a leap from year one to year two of his NFL experience. With Posey (Achilles) likely to be on the PUP list to start the 2013 season, Martin is expected to open the season as the Texans' third receiver, giving him an opportunity to stay there even after Posey's return.

2012

Martin will compete for the third receiver position and should see playing time during his first NFL season, although he likely won't make much fantasy impact.
