July 25, 2014
The Vikings cut Cooper (undisclosed) with a non-football injury designation Friday, Baltimore Sun writer Aaron Wilson reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not clear what Cooper's injury issue might be, but he likely wouldn't have amounted to more than a camp body with the Vikings, anyway.

Cooper played his first two NFL seasons with the Browns, where he racked up nine catches for 60 yards during the 2013 season. He'll compete for a reserve role in Minnesota, where it's unlikely he sees enough targets to make a fantasy impact.
Cooper had two nice performances in his first NFL action last season, totaling six catches for 92 yards, but his involvement faded as the season wore on and the Browns' receiving corps got healthier. Cooper is unlikely to be a significant part of the team's passing game in 2013.
Cooper was brought on by the Browns to compete for a spot in the wide receiver corps. He played with first-round pick and new Cleveland quarterback Brandon Weeden at Oklahoma State in college so there will be existing chemistry there to help him catch on quickly. Cooper is a small player, ideally suited to man the slot, who has been characterized as an excellent route runner who can make the tough catch over the middle. He lacks deep speed and will have limited upside, but he could have some value in very deep PPR leagues should he serve as the Browns' slot receiver in 2012.
