RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
Coach Mike Zimmer brings Lamur in from the Bengals for the 2016 season after four years in Cincinnati. He was only able to play three seasons due to a shoulder injury following his rookie campaign. Veteran Chad Greenway is ahead of Lamur on the depth chart at outside linebacker, but Lamur figures to compete for snaps throughout the season. With almost 150 career tackles in less than three full seasons, Lamur provides the Vikings with a quality depth option.
Played nine games as a rookie and was slated for a bigger role before a shoulder injury placed him on injured reserve ahead of last season. Lamur could factor into nickle packages this season while also featuring on special teams.
