Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)Fisher, who has added five pounds of "good weight" since last season according to coach Andy Reid, is in line to take over left tackle for the Chiefs in the wake of Branden Albert's departure.
Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)Fisher's film probably isn't as good as Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel, but Fisher does beat Joeckel when it comes to size, strength and athleticism, and he therefore could have the most upside of the two. Whether Fisher starts at left tackle as a rookie might depend on whether the Chiefs can trade current left tackle Branden Albert to the Dolphins. Fisher's arrival is good news for Jamaal Charles and Alex Smith. Fisher is the first non-AQ player drafted first overall since Smith was in 2005.
RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
Fisher, who was drafted first overall in 2013 to be the Chiefs’ starting left tackle of the future, played his entire rookie campaign at right tackle due to the presence of Pro Bowl left tackle Branden Albert. Now with the departure of Albert via free agency, Fisher will slide back to his original position of left tackle for the Chiefs in 2014.
Fisher, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 draft, is expected to start at right tackle for his rookie season while Branden Albert mans the left side.
