Cox is listed as the starting running back for the Giants on Sunday against the Eagles, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

Cox may be the starter, but Peyton Hillis is still expected to see a majority of the touches, similar to last week. With Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) inactive, Cox will at least get an opportunity to get going first; if he can produce a few good runs early, he could eat into Hillis' touches.
Though he received six carries during the Giants' first drive Monday night, Cox was quiet thereafter, finishing with just 11 totes for 23 yards, while Peyton Hillis carried 18 times for 36 yards and a touchdown.

Cox will start at running back for the Giants on Monday against the Vikings, Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News reports.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

As expected, Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) is inactive, with Peyton Hillis and fullback John Connor potentially in the mix for carries Monday as well. Still, for those needing to pick one Giants back as a last-minute plug-in in a game in which the team may throw plenty, Cox looks like the upside dart. At 0-6, it makes sense for the team to see what they have in Cox, a 2013 seventh-rounder. With David Wilson's (neck) status murky going forward, it's possible that a solid effort on Cox's part Monday could lead to continued opportunities in the coming weeks.
Cox is expected to start at running back for the Giants on Monday against the Vikings, Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News reports.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

According to Vacchiano, Cox and Peyton Hillis will both be in the mix -- with Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) not expected to play Monday -- with fullback John Connor possibly in line for touches, too. It's a muddled situation, and we'd expect the Giants to throw plenty against a beatable Minnesota passing defense, but it looks like Cox will see his first carries of the season thanks to the injuries that have piled up in the 0-6 Giants' backfield.
If Brandon Jacobs, who did not practice Saturday, were scratched, it's likely Cox would see some carries Monday night.
