The Cowboys selected Martin in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, 16th overall.

Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)

The Cowboys would have had a good reason to pick Johnny Manziel or Teddy Bridgewater here, but the preposterously huge cap hit in Tony Romo's contract left Dallas without the option of securing their future at the most important position. Martin is a fine consolation prize for the most part, as he's an excellent prospect at guard and a good one at tackle. Martin should help keep Romo upright and give him a chance to justify that colossal contract.
