Exclusive Fantasy Analysis (FREE PREVIEW)The first-round rookie didn't put up big numbers, but he was often praised for his strong work in coverage. He is expected to make a full recovery, and will likely move from the nickelback role to one of the outside cornerback spots. RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
Verrett is entering his second season with huge expectations. He had 19 tackles and one game-saving interception in the six games he played as a rookie, and he already has a starting spot opposite Brandon Flowers locked up heading into 2015.
Verrett was drafted to be an impact corner and is expected to get a lot of playing time as a rookie, but the signing of Brandon Flowers means that the Chargers have the luxury of developing Verrett slowly if they desire.
