Missing 37 of a possible 48 games to start his career, Campanaro showed a heightened sense of durability during his fourth season while playing in 13 games for the Ravens in 2017. He now comes to Tennessee on a one-year, $880,000 contract, with the relatively meager salary suggesting he wasn't signed to be an key offensive weapon in the Titans' receiving corps. Instead, the Wake Forest product will combine with cornerback Adoree' Jackson to provide the team with above-average production as a return man on special teams. As such, Campanaro isn't close to being on the fantasy radar ahead of the 2018 season.
Campanaro returned to the Ravens late last season after reaching an injury settlement with the club in September. The former seventh-rounder made the most of his limited opportunities upon his return, taking three jet sweep carries for 72 yards over the final three games. Undersized at 5-9, Campanaro gets by with his burst, short area quicks, and crafty route running. He's a bit of an unknown given that he has 16 targets in his career, but the potential opportunity to serve as the No. 4 receiver in a pass-happy offense gives him a deep sleeper moniker. If Campanaro can stay healthy -- a big "if" due to his lengthy injury history -- and beat out Chris Moore, he could warrant a late round flier in PPR formats.
A 2014 seventh-round selection, Campanaro made a bid for primary slot duties in both of his first two seasons, only to be held back by nagging lower-body injuries that have thus far limited him to just eight appearances. He now finds himself on the roster bubble for a Ravens team that prioritized depth in its receiving corps during the offseason. Campanaro's ability to help in the return game will boost his chances of making the team.
A 2014 seventh-round draft pick, the 5-9 Campanaro was bothered by a hamstring injury for much of his rookie season. He was healthy by the time the playoffs rolled around, notably catching four passes on 19 snaps in a divisional-round loss to the Patriots. Campanaro should be in the mix to serve as the Ravens' primary slot receiver, but his limited physical tools don't hint at much upside.
Undersized slot receiver could win a roster spot if he can stay healthy, but his upside is limited.
