Rashad Jennings got the start and the first few touches, while Williams handled one third-down snap on the Giants' second drive, and then split work with Jennings on the third and final drive for the first-team offense. Williams got the only goal-line carry, one play after ripping off a 21-yard gain. Big Blue's running game looked excellent on that final drive, but alas, they were facing the Bills' second-string defense. Still, Williams made a strong impression in his NFL debut, and Jennings wasn't bad either. Peyton Hillis didn't play until Ryan Nassib and the second-team offense took over. Meanwhile, David Wilson (neck) will be evaluated Monday, after suffering a potential setback during Tuesday's practice.
With David Wilson's season in jeopardy, Williams could see an increased role.
