Here are our rankings for the coming week at each position to help you decide your starting lineup. Our rankings are based on the following scoring system: three points for a passing touchdown; six points for a rushing/receiving touchdown; one point for every 20 passing yards; and one point for every 10 rushing/receiving yards. Flex Rankings are for PPR leagues. All the position rankings will be updated twice per week.

Note: It turns out any concern about RG3's running game was misplaced. Lesson learned.
4.Eli Manning NYG vs. Was
5.*Tom Brady NE vs. NYJ
Note: Reportedly has a head injury that will be monitored this week - comes from the Boston Globe, not necessarily from the Pats. Not listed on the initial injury report.

Note: Left practice Thursday a few minutes early with a minor ankle injury. *** Full practice Friday, listed as probable. ***
7.Andy Dalton CIN vs. Pit
8.Andrew Luck IND vs. Cle

13.Matt Schaub HOU vs. Bal
14.Jay Cutler CHI vs. Det
15.Joe Flacco BAL at Hou
16.Ryan Fitzpatrick BUF vs. Ten

Note: Twisted his ankle last week against the Bengals, but didn't miss a snap. *** Full practice Friday, listed as probable. ***

13.Frank Gore SF vs. Sea
14.*Trent Richardson CLE at Ind
Note: Suffered a flank injury against the Bengals that has been reclassified (maybe dumbed down so that laymen like myself can understand it?) as a right rib cartilage injury. He's considered day-to-day. Watch his practice reports carefully - he's a top-10 back this week if it looks like he'll get a full load. 15.Marshawn Lynch SEA at SF
16.*Ahmad Bradshaw NYG vs. Was

32.*Jonathan Dwyer PIT at Cin
Note: Inactive the last two games, but probably plays this week with both Mendenhall and Redman banged up. *** Both Mendenhall and Redman are out. I'm not quite sure how to handicap Dwyer vs. Batch - I'm hearing Dwyer may start, but they've trusted Batch more recently.***
33.*Baron Batch PIT at Cin
Note: Could end up being the Steelers' starter with both Mendenhall and Redman missing practices Wednesday and Thursday. *** Both Mendenhall and Redman are out. ***
34.*David Wilson NYG vs. Was
Note: *** Bumping up a little bit with Bradshaw banged up. ***

Note: Was not on the field for any of the Patriots' offensive snaps last week, even after Bolden's injury.

Note: Suffered an Achilles' tendon injury last week against the Titans, listed initially as questionable, though considered to have a 'good shot' at playing. Sat out practice both Wednesday and Thursday, as did Isaac Redman. One source suggests that Mendenhall has a better chance of playing than Redman. Friday's practice will be key. *** Both Mendenhall and Redman are out. ***
72.Donald Brown IND vs. Cle

3.Minnesota Vikings vs. Ari
4.*Houston Texans vs. Bal
Note: Sunday night was their first full game without Brian Cushing, and that could be a pretty big deal. Also, Johnathan Joseph has a sore groin and even sorer ego after getting toasted by Jordy Nelson.
5.Seattle Seahawks at SF
6.*Green Bay Packers at StL
Note: B.J. Raji (ankle) was pretty close to playing last week. Amazing the Packers did what they did against Houston without him.
7.Oakland Raiders vs. Jac
Note: My sneaky streaming option for this week.
8.*New England Patriots vs. NYJ
Note: Patrick Chung once again is dealing with a shoulder injury.
9.Arizona Cardinals at Min
10.*Dallas Cowboys at Car
Note: They might lose Morris Claiborne (knee) this week.
11.*New York Giants vs. Was
Note: Kenny Phillips is getting closer to returning. In bigger news, the Giants rediscovered their pass rush against the Niners.
12.*Pittsburgh Steelers at Cin
Note: Troy Polamalu out once again.
13.Buffalo Bills vs. Ten
Note: Finally got production from Mario Williams (two sacks).
14.Detroit Lions at Chi
15.Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pit

17.Carolina Panthers vs. Dal
18.Cleveland Browns at Ind
19.Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. NO
20.*Baltimore Ravens at Hou
Note: Devastating losses of Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb, and Ngata's injury is problematic too.
