Today is like Christmas for NFL teams. Some teams will have their stockings stuffed with gifts, and some with coal. Until today, I have undertook the impossible practice of predicting the picks without trades. Today, I make an even more ridiculous prediction by trying to predict the trades that will happen in tonight's first round of the NFL Draft. Enjoy the craziness that follows. It'll make tonight seem rather tame. The Green means a team traded up to that spot, the pale red means the team traded down. All in all there were five trades predicted.

The Cowboys received some good news Thursday, as offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has turned down an offer from the Ravens to become their head coach and will instead return to the Cowboys in 2008, the Dallas Morning News reports.

The Cowboys will need to re-stock their brain trust this offseason, as offensive line coach Tony Sparano has accepted an offer to become the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins, the Dallas Morning News reports. Sparano joins Bill Parcells, as well as former Cowboys VP of scouting Jeff Ireland, in Miami, and his hiring could start an exodus to south Florida as a number of other Cowboys assistants and former Parcells hires have expiring contracts. Dallas offensive coordinator Jason Garrett is also currently mulling offers to become head coach of Baltimore or Atlanta, although he could elect to remain as a very highly-paid assistant and Wade Phillips' heir apparent.
