Crawford says his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery is going well, David Helman of DallasCowboys.com reports. “It’s extremely helpful to just have the strength back that I didn’t have last year,” Crawford said Friday. “I’m back up to almost where I was before the injury. I’m feeling real good. I’m feeling confident about it as well.”
Although head coach Jason Garrett said that Bryant is making "progress" in his recovery from surgery on his right foot, the wide receiver may not participate fully in mandatory minicamp in June, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports. "Like with all those guys, it's a day-by-day, week-by-week thing," added Garrett. "But he's had no setbacks, but he really continues to get better and better."
Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones said Thursday that Smith (knee) would not be placed on IR, leaving open the possibility that he could play in 2016, ESPN's Todd Archer reports. "We'll take a chance he'll be back for the playoffs," Jones said.
