Due to multiple injuries, Rainey, who was claimed from the Browns off waivers in October, wound up as the Bucs' leading rusher in 2013 with 137 carries for 532 yards (3.9 yards per carry) and five touchdowns.
Buccaneers GM Jason Licht said he's looking to bring in a veteran quarterback who's capable of pushing Glennon for the starting job, the Tampa Tribune reports. "Absolutely," Licht said. "New coach, new regime, you can't just hand the keys over and say this guys is our starter. You have to see what he is, and competition drives the best out of everybody. So, that's what we'll be looking for."
Watson, an unrestricted free-agent now, finished the 2013 season with 42 tackles (33 solo), 2.0 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one pass defensed in 15 games played.
