Cochran, 12-under, shot consecutive five-under 67s to top Mark Calcavecchia by two shots at the European Tour's Senior British Open. Tom Watson and Cory Pavin tied for third at nine-under making the top spots 100% USA

Cochran, at 14-under, won the Champions Tour SAS Championship by two shots over Tom Pernice, Jr. and four shots over John Cook.

Lefty Cochran and Fred Funk finished in a tie at 12-under that generated a sudden-death playoff. Cochran's birdie on the first extra hole earned the win at the Champions Tour Songdo Championship, Songdo, South Korea.
