With a few things working in his favor, Sam Burns lands a spot among Len Hochberg's value plays for this week's PGA DFS contests on DraftKings.
2006 Fantasy Outlook
Early on Faxon struggled to find his game, and if not for a late-season victory at the Buick Championship he would have been a great pick for 2006. He won, however, and he's not a bargain at $1.7 million. Throw in knee surgery in September and the pick looks even worse. It's hard to put a dollar amount on his earnings this year because there is no way to know how he will recover from his surgery. The best bet is to stay away from drafting him in a salary cap league. In a regular league, he might be worth a late-round selection, but nothing more.
