October 7, 2019
Ebert was traded to the Rangers from the Senators along with a 2021 fourth-round pick Monday in exchange for Vladislav Namestnikov, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
The blueliner just recently signed a deal in North America this offseason after he potted 11 goals and 22 assists in 49 games in Sweden during the 2018-19 campaign. Ebert will join a stacked blue line of young talent for the Rangers and is expected to be shuffled to AHL Hartford rather than the big club following the trade.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2013
2012
Ebert spent another season in Windsor (OHL) in 2012-13, leading his team's blue line in goals (11), assists (27) and points (38) in 68 games. He got bumped up to the ECHL, picking up three assists in four games and shining in the playoffs with seven points in 10 playoff games. He's got the size (6-1, 207) to handle the NH,L but we'll have to see how he handles a full-season jump to the ECHL/AHL before getting too excited.
Ebert joins the Kings after being selected in the seventh round in the 2012 Entry Draft. The 18-year-old enjoyed another solid season for Windsor of the OHL, tallying 39 points (six goals, 33 assists) in 66 games and leading the team's blueliners in points and assists. He has the size (6-1, 195) to play at the NHL level, but is very much in a wait-and-see category at this point.
