Ramholt is another Calgary prospect toiling away in Omaha. He put up decent numbers in the AHL last season, but probably will not find himself in a Flames jersey this season.

Ramholt should spend 2006-07 in the minors getting accustomed to North American hockey, as the Flames are set on the blue line and Ramholt spent last season playing for Switzerland.

Ramholt is playing the 2005/06 season in Switzerland, with Kloten of Swiss A league. He will need a few more years to develop and mature. Ramholt will be a good NHL defenseman, keep him on your radar.
