ANALYSIS
Like other Nashville blueliners, Roussel has a nice offensive game. Roussel was a second-round pick and the youngest player selected in the 2009 Entry Draft. He had 14 goals and 34 assists for the QMJHL's Shawinigan Cataractes this season.

2010 Fantasy Outlook
In 2009-10, Roussel continued to improve his point totals for Shawinigan of the QMJHL, scoring 51 points (15G, 36A) in 64 games. He is an emerging elite-level offensive defenseman who should get the chance to play in the AHL soon - perhaps this year. Longer term, Roussel projects as a top-four blueliner at the NHL level.
