RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014-15

There was no outlook written for Marcel Hossa.

2007-08

One word to describe Hossa -- enigmatic. He has all the tools, the ability. But for whatever reason, has not put it together on the ice. He should be as good as his brother Marian, who is a major star in this league -- so it appears this next season is the absolute pivotal season for Hossa. Either he'll progress, or he'll just end up playing hockey somewhere else.

2005-06

Marcel Hossa has disappointed for a couple of seasons now. This is definitely his last chance to stick with the Canadiens. Hossa does not have the speed to get by defenders, nor does he have the toughness to go into the corners. Donít expect much out of this skilled Slovak this season.
