RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013-14

There was no outlook written for Sebastien Caron.

2006-07

Traded to Anaheim in Dec. of 2006. In 2005-06 the Blackhawks had very little experience behind Nikolai Khabibulin in goal, Caron though gives them some experience. Caron moved up to the back-up role for the Hawks after Patrick Lalime was injured early in training camp. He could put together a good string if Khabibulin goes down with an injury.

2005-06

Caron had a miserable time playing for a Quebec club team during the lockout. His GAA was over 6.00. The Penguins didn't help matters by assigning all of its other goalies to the AHL and ECHL, but leaving Caron out to fend for himself. Caron is the most polished of the team's backup goalies, but Jocelyn Thibault figures to be the only Pittsburgh goalie to have much fantasy value in 2005-06.
