RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013-14

There was no outlook written for Rickard Wallin.

2009-10

Wallin played 19 games for the Wild between 2002 and 2004, and has spent three of the last four seasons playing in Sweden. He's nothing more than a 29-year-old journeyman checker who probably isn't going to deliver more than 25 points. He's a short-term fix for the Leafs; avoid him on draft day.

2005-06

He continues to put up solid numbers in the AHL (32 points in 47 games in 2003-04) but can't make the jump to the next level. He may need a fresh start in another organization to get a chance in the NHL.
