Beckford-Tseu posted a 3.19 goals-against average (.903 save percentage) with the Florida Everblades in 2009-10. He also appeared in six games with the Panthers' AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, but he was unimpressive with a 4.68 GAA and a winless record. He simply doesn't seem ready for the big stage of the NHL.
Beckford-Tseu is coming off a flop of a season in which he was exiled to the ECHL. While it's not certain what level of the minors he'll end up on this season, it's pretty much certain he won't be on the big club.
Beckford-Tseu has been added to the mix in the crease because of the lack of development demonstrated by second-round picks David Shantz and Tyler Plante. Expect Beckford-Tseu to get about half the starts in AHL Rochester this season, but nothing in the NHL unless there's an injury to Tomas Vokoun or Craig Anderson.
Not expected to see any time at the NHL level this year, with Manny Legace, Jason Bacashihua and Marek Schwarz all ahead of him on the Blues' depth chart.
Making a name for himself in the minor leagues, but is still too far down the Blues' depth chart to warrant any fantasy consideration.
