RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013-14

There was no outlook written for Greg Mauldin.

2010-11

Mauldin, 28, spent most of last season with the Islandersí AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, where he led the team in scoring with 54 points (25G, 29A) in 77 games. Originally selected by Columbus in the seventh round of the 2002 Entry Draft, Mauldin has played in seven career NHL games, six with the Blue Jackets and one with the Islanders. He is expected to open next season with AHL Lake Erie.

2009-10

Mauldin's last taste of NHL action came in the 2003-04 season. The Isles brought him in simply to add scoring depth to Bridgeport (AHL).

2008-09

Mauldin should spend the entire 2008-09 season with Binghamton of the AHL. In 71 games with the Baby Sens last year, Mauldin recorded 15 goals and 18 assists.

2005-06

A point-a-game scorer in college, Mauldin will need a couple of seasons in the AHL to prove his relatively small size won't be a handicap in the pros.
