St. Pierre led the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League with 38 points in 71 games in 2013-14. The 30-year-old center has had a productive career in the AHL, but just 39 games in the NHL, including a one-game call up to Montreal last season. The Bulldogs captain has since signed with Medvescak, a Croatian-based team in Russia' s Kontinental Hockey Leauge.
St. Pierre was with the Rockford IceHogs, Chicago's affiliate in the AHL, in 2012-13. He scored 26 goals with 33 assists in 76 games before becoming an unrestricted free agent and signing with the Montreal organization. He has a smattering of NHL experience (38 games) over eight professional seasons, but is essentially a career minor-leaguer. He's been a gifted scorer at the AHL level, but no organization has given him a long enough shot with its parent club. He'll join the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL this season.
St. Pierre returned from Europe to lead AHL Springfield in scoring with 11 goals and 53 assists in 73 games. His days of getting cups of coffee in the NHL may be over.
St. Pierre was a point-a-game player in the AHL as recently as '08-'09, but the crafty center isn't likely to see much of any NHL action after a year spent in Europe.
St. Pierre who has decent offensive skills will likely spend most of the season with the B-Sens and provide some nice offensive depth. Don't expect to see him up with the big club unless he really impresses in Bingo.
St. Pierre has been great in the AHL, but thus far has been unable to transfer that success to the next level. He'll provide the B's organization with some depth at forward and could see some action in Boston here and there if/when injuries hit up front.
Has potential with 23 goals and 50 assists last season for Norfolk in 77 games. Will start for the Admirals at the beginning of the 2006-07 season, but could be brought later this season.
