Schultz will likely spend this season in Houston of the AHL, where he put up 66 points in 80 games last year. He's shown the ability to put p numbers in the minors, but he's never gotten a real shot up in the NHL.

The 24 year old Schultz was acquired from Vancouver in June. Last season he appeared in two NHL games and 67 AHL games where he scored 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists). He's no doubt tabbed for another season in the "A" unless something unexpected happens.

Schultz played very well for the Moose last season and looks to keep that momentum going for the parent Canucks. His inability to control the puck while fighting defenders off may lose him minutes in the uber competitive NHL. He would make a good addition to the Sedin line if he can get stronger. Wxpect call-ups during the season and points when he is there.
