RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014-15

There was no outlook written for Andrew Gordon.

2013-14

A fringe NHL/AHL player signed away from Vancouver this past off-season. Gordon will provide little more than minor league depth for the Jets.

2012-13

Gordon was sent from the Ducks to the Canucks in a deal prior to the trade deadline last season. The 27-year-old winger never made an appearance for Vancouver, spending all of his time with Chicago of the AHL. In 49 career NHL games, Gordon has totaled seven points. He appears destined for another year spent jumping between levels.

2010-11

Gordon is a 24 year old winger who has played a few games at the NHL level. Most of his time the last two seasons have been spent in the AHL. He has some promise, but does not seem to be a guy to be a steady NHL player.

2009-10

Gordon is a 5-foot-11; 180 pound winger, who posted 45 points (21G, 24A) in 80 games with AHL Hershey last season. He plays the game with energy, intensity, and always seems to be around the puck. His keen sense of knowing where the play is going only adds to his great scoring touch and combined with the awareness he has, makes defenders frustrated. He skates with speed and has good acceleration, with a very impressive wrist shot that gets off in a hurry. He will continue to polish his skills in AHL Hershey this coming season.

2008-09

Gordon is a 5-foot-11; 180 pound winger, who posted 62 points (24 goals, 38 assists) in 58 games with AHL Hershey and 11 games at ECHL South Carolina last season.

2007-08

Gordon amassed 22 goals and 23 assists in 40 games in his junior year for St. Cloud State, finishing second on the team only to Flyers' prospect Andreas Nodl. He's organizational depth at this point.
