Soryal will never light up the box score, but could find himself as the tough guy for the Hurricanes in the future. Last season alone, he racked up 220 penalty minutes with AHL connecticut but has yet to appear in an NHL game.

Soryal went undrafted but signed on with the Rangers in 2008. Since then, he's spent time with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL with penalty minutes standing out as his speciality - Soryal has racked up 273 minutes in the Sin Bin in the last two seasons. He's anything but an intriguing option for the Blueshirts.

Soryal isn't going to be much of a fantasy producer if he gets a chance to play in the near future as he project to be more of a goon than skill player. He could give some PIMs if given the chance.

The left wing had compiled 15 goals and 22 assists in 56 games last season with Peterborough of the Ontario Hockey League. Still a few years away from the NHL.
