RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Peter Mannino.
Mannino appeared in just two games for the Thrashers last season and was not the goalie of record in either contest. He'll spend the season in the AHL with only the occasional promotion possible should the Jets goaltenders succumb to injury. As a result, he's not worth your fantasy consideration.
Mannino posted 21 wins last season while splitting time between the American Hockey League and the East Coast Hockey League. Mannino could find himself in an emergency back up role with the Thrashers should Chris Mason or Ondrej Pavelec go down with an injury at some point this season. Besides that, he won’t see significant playing time with the Thrashers and should not be considered for your fantasy team.
Mannino wrapped up his career at the University of Denver with a 25-14-1 record. He'll be in the mix for the netminder position in Bridgeport (AHL).
