RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014-15

There was no outlook written for Brian Fahey.

2010-11

Fahey is a veteran AHL player and does not look to ever get a chance to play at the NHL level consistently. He was just signed and has seven year experience, but none at the NHL level and do not expect that to change.

2009-10

Fahey is slowly becoming a journeyman minor leaguer, having spent the past six seasons at the AHL/ECHL level. His best season offensively was 2007-08 when he tallied 37 points (14G, 23A) in 76 games for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. Fahey is in a tough spot, with well-established veterans ahead of him on the Avs' depth chart, and a group of promising young defenders coming up fast behind him. He needs to quickly prove to the Avs that he belongs at the NHL level, as time is quickly running out for him.
