RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2016-17

There was no outlook written for Michael Forney.

2010-11

Forney attended his first NHL training camp with the Thrashers last season but did not make the team. Playing in 66 games for the Gwinnett Gladiators during the 2009-10 season, Forney recorded 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points. Though he will be battling for an NHL roster spot at training camp again this year, Forney still needs to improve physically in order to be a main stay in the NHL or deserve a roster spot in deeper leagues.
