RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013-14

There was no outlook written for Johan Harju.

2011-12

Harju hit North America with a resume filled with offensive exploits in the KHL. But he spent most of last season in the AHL and filled a fourth-line depth role in 10 NHL games. He's a solid skater with impressive vision and a great shot but he's in tough to even win a job on the Bolts' fourth line.

2010-11

Harju is a big, powerful winger who'll vie for a spot on the Bolts' third or fourth line. He has the skill to be a second-line winger but needs to amp up the intensity to prove he's the scoring stud he was in the Swedish Elite League (2008-09) and not the plugger he was in the KHL (2009-10). Watch him carefully in camp -- his skating isn't the best but his sniping sure is. He could surprise.
