RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014-15

There was no outlook written for Tomas Vincour.

2013-14

Vincour played just two games for the Avs last year after he coming over from the Stars' system. He put up 39 points in 55 AHL games in 2012-13 and he could get a shot with the Avs this season. The more likely scenario is another year in the AHL with call ups to the Avs. But the future looks bright for Vincour, so file his name away, particularly in keeper formats.

2012-13

Vincour has the size and speed to be a secondary scoring asset at the NHL level, but he has yet to develop the skill as many have hoped. He has five career goals in the NHL in about a full season's worth of games, so it's hard to get too excited about him at this point. It took time for Loui Eriksson to develop a scoring touch as well, but Eriksson flashed 30-goal potential at the AHL level as well, something Vincour has failed to do.

2011-12

Vicour didn't look out of place in a brief NHL trial run, though he managed just two points in 24 games. He has good size and a nice shot, but hasn't been a prolific scorer in either the WHL or the AHL. Expect him to shuttle back and forth between the AHL and the NHL again this season.
