Drafted in the seventh round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, McMillan is a physical forward who played in 78 games with AHL Houston in 2010-11, notching 12 goals, 10 assists, and 80 penalty minutes in the regular season. That same year he also had a short stint with the parent club as he served as injury fill-in and stayed in the NHL for seven games. McMillan should have a similar role in 2011-12.
