RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

There was no outlook written for Steven Fogarty.

After posting 82 points with Pentiction of the BCHL, the team's third-round pick in 2011 has had a few quiet seasons at Notre Dame, posting just 21 points in 74 combined games. Still considered to be very raw, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward has great two-way skills and will likely take on a much more central role for the Fighting Irish this season. Dynasty owners continue to monitor his progress.

After collecting 33 goals and 48 assists through 60 games with Pentiction Vees of the BCHL, the Rangers selected him with their third round pick (72nd overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old Minnesota native (who lists at 6'2, 194-pounds) registered five goals, five assists in 41 games as a freshmen with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. This center is still developing and is not likely in your sights just yet keeper league owners, but monitoring his college production wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Fogarty was a third-round pick of the Rangers in 2011 and will be playing with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this season. Fogarty is a skilled player, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect a repeat of Chris Kreider toward the end of the 2012-13 season.
