RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2017-18

There was no outlook written for Darren Dietz.

2013-14

Dietz, 20, spent his third full season with the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL in 2012-13. His inclination is to support the offense and that style resulted in 58 points (24 goals, 34 assists) in 72 games for the Blades. He has the size to be an NHL blueliner and isn't afraid to engage with physical play, or to mix it up with opponents. He's no longer junior eligible, so we suspect Dietz will make his pro debut for Hamilton of the AHL in 2013-14.
