RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2016-17

There was no outlook written for Maxim Letunov.

2015-16

Letunov was part of the package the Coyotes received from St. Louis for defenseman Zbynek Michalek at the trade deadline last year. The 19-year-old Russian has a high offensive IQ and scored 25 goals and 64 points in 58 games with Youngstown of the USHL last year, but needs to work on his defensive game. He is now one of many prospects expected to help rebuild the franchise in the next few years, though he'll first report to the University of Connecticut for the upcoming season.
