Ted Lilly v San Diego – The Dodgers may have looked at Lilly's success against the Padres when they acquired him from the Cubs at the trade deadline. Their current crop of batters (including injured players, scrubs and pitchers) have gone a collective .198/.249/.357 off Lilly. That line includes new additions Miguel Tejada and Ryan Ludwick (who owns 10 strikeouts in 30 plate appearances against Lilly). Lilly put up a 24:5 K:BB over his last three starts for the Cubs, but note he may suffer from some nervousness in his Dodger debut.

Jeremy Bonderman v Chicago – Bonderman has gone 5-10 with a 4.79 ERA in 16 career starts against the White Sox, and his luck may not change in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader. Paul Konerko has four home runs in 33 at-bats against him, and Alex Rios owns two in 16. Mark Kotsay and Omar Vizquel are the team's two weak links against Bonderman, but they can both be easily subbed out for Andruw Jones and Dayan Viciedo.

Recommended Pickup

Chris Snyder, C, PIT - Snyder was a popular add early on in the season after Miguel Montero went down with injury, but Montero's return from the DL June 10 pushed Snyder back into a reserve role and fantasy anonymity. The playing time should return thanks to Snyder's trade to the Pirates, who were using a platoon of Jason Jaramillo and Erik Kratz in Ryan Doumit's absence. Doumit is slated to move into the infield or outfield when he comes back from a concussion, so Snyder's playing time should persist for the rest of the regular season.

Other Recent Recommendations:Chris Perez/Joel Hanrahan/Drew Storen, Brett Wallace, Dan Hudson, Barry Enright, Wade Davis
