Scherbak scored seven goals with 16 assists while finishing minus-26 in 48 games for the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League. Montreal's first-round draft pick (26th overall) in 2014 missed some time due to an ankle injury.
Galchenyuk suffered a broken right pinky finger on Mar. 3 and played the rest of the season with it, the Montreal Gazette reports. Despite the injury, Galchenyuk thrived, scoring 17 points (11 goals, six assists) in the final 17 games on his way to a career-high 56 points.
Carr had a goal and finished plus-2 in Thursday night's win over the Hurricanes. His second-period tally turned out to be the winner, and was his first since returning from a knee injury three games ago.
